You agree and warrant that any comments and/or other content posted by you will not:

  10. contain any commercial advertising material or be for a commercial purpose 
  11. post, transmit or include a link to any unsolicited advertising, promotion materials or other forms of solicitation to users of the Channels 
  12. alter, damage or delete any content on the Channels or otherwise interfere with the ability of others to use the Channels 
  13. act in such a way as to give rise to any liability for ezylegal or any user of the Channels or to cause any loss or damage to any person

Users found to be repeatedly engaging in the above activities may be banned.

What is a cookie?

The cookie is stored on the user’s machine or device as an historical identifier only and cannot do anything to your machine. Cookies are not stored by ezylegal and cannot be used to determine the user’s email address or anything about the user’s computer or device. 

If you wish to log in to our website you will need to accept cookies. If your browser rejects all cookies you will still be able to view public, information only pages.

Right to Information 

TheRight to Information Act 2009(RTI Act) and theInformation Privacy Act 2009(IP Act) were introduced in 2009 to replace theFreedom of Information Act 1992.   

The Right to Information (RTI) laws form part of the Queensland Government’s initiative to provide the public greater access to information as well as encouraging transparency in government agencies. 

Under the RTI framework, more information is being made available to the community, unless on balance it is contrary to the public interest to provide that information. Appropriate protections are still being enforced for an individuals’ privacy. 

Accessing ezylegal’s information 

There are two ways to access information held by ezylegal, namely, through administrative and other means or alternatively, by lodging an application under the RTI Act or IP Act. 

If the information is available, an application under theRight to Information Act 2009orInformation Privacy Act 2009should not be lodged.

The information and documents contained in the Publication Scheme and Disclosure Log are downloadable free of charge. Processing charges apply to formal RTI applications. The processing charge is $8.65 per 15 minutes. Photocopying charge is 25c per page. 

Our fees and charges increase on 1 July each year. On 1 July 2023 our fees and charges were increased by 3.4% in line with Government’s indexation policy. You can contact us to find out details about specific fees, charges or prices.
